Kimberly S. Stern was the Program Manager of the Maryland Cancer Registry, Center for Cancer Prevention and Control, for sixteen years. She was a passionate champion of the Registry and cared deeply about how its data was used to help Marylanders. She died peacefully on November 4th, 2023.

To honor Kimberly and the indelible impact she had, we will be holding a Celebration of Life on December 8th, 2023, from 12-1PM. Details for the gathering can be found below and in the attached flyer:

Potluck Style – bring something to share!

Kimberly requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the various organizations she was an active member and supporter of, including the Martinsburg Volunteer Fire Company, Jaffa Shrine Temple, Shriner's Hospital for Children, Philadelphia, and the Marfan Foundation of Port Washington, New York. Please share any pictures or memories you'd like to have highlighted at the Celebration of Life with Delores Rich, Delores.Rich@maryland.gov.

To celebrate Kimberly's love of trying new foods, we encourage attendees to bring a dish that is special to them.

Look forward to celebrating Kimberly with all of you,

    Tyler
