As a reminder, the public comment period for the Office of the National Coordinator's USCDI+ Cancer Registry data items for early incidence reporting closes September 23rd. You are encouraged to review and make general comments and/or data item specific comments on the USCDI+ webpage by the deadline. Your voice matters! You will need to set up an account to provide your feedback; it is very easy and will only take a couple of minutes.

The High-Level Strategic Group Standards Alignment Task Force would like to thank those of you who provided feedback on their draft comments. The Task Force considered input received and made modifications to its comments in the attached document. Their recommendations are also being shared with High-Level Strategic Group for discussion. If there are further edits, we will share with you.

It is expected that public comments may vary among the community, but we hope that this document will help you in providing your own. Feel free to use any or all of the comments provided.

If you need any assistance with the process or have questions, please send me an e-mail at kknight@naaccr.org.

Also, as a reminder, the Health Data, Technology, and Interoperability: Patient Engagement, Information Sharing and Public Health Interoperability (HTI-2) proposed rule is also available for public comment and closes October 4th. A fact sheet will be shared in a separate announcement.
