Many thanks to those of you who provided feedback over the last month on draft public comments on USCDI+ Cancer Registry data elements. This document has been discussed with a variety of groups and with stakeholders. While the list of 23 data items is all that is up for review, we received valid questions and concerns about implementation; the latest version of the document (attached) addresses these concerns in the key points section.
You are strongly encouraged to use what you like from this document and submit your own comments by September 23rd at the following link: USCDI+ Record - USCDI+ Service Portal (healthit.gov). You will need to set up an account, which is very easy to do. The more of us who respond, the better!
The other open item for public comment is HTI-2, which closes October 4th. A separate message will be sent about this effort.
