Greetings from the NAACCR XML Workgroup!
We wanted to remind you of some resources to prepare for the NAACCR v23 implementation. Central registries with locally defined data items are expected to create and provide user dictionaries to vendors as soon as possible to help vendors prepare customized files and software applications and reduce the chance of delay for deployment of NAACCR v23 software. If your registry is not creating a user dictionary for v23 we recommend completing the Clearinghouse form stating that. If you have already done that, thank you!
If you have not: NAACCR has established a User Dictionary Clearinghouse to show examples of user dictionaries from other central registries and provide a Data Dictionary Details Template that will help central registries gather information needed to define their own XML User Dictionary. All central registries are encouraged to review this website: www.naaccr.org/xml-user-dictionary . The Clearinghouse will only post the most recent files uploaded by each registry and uploaded files do not appear immediately.
The NAACCR v23 Base Dictionary and Data Exchange Standard v1.6 are available on the NAACCR website at: www.naaccr.org/xml-data-exchange-standard
Registries can request help with NAACCR XML or review of their user dictionary on the NAACCR XML Forum
Thank you,
NAACCR XML Workgroup
