    This is a gentle reminder about the upcoming annual course on  Cancer Survival: Principles, Methods and Applications at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine during the week of 7-11 July 2025.

     

    As a brief overview, the course will cover the theory and statistical modelling of cancer survival, along with topics such as cancer registration, data quality control, and cancer metrics including incidence, mortality, cure, and prevalence. International comparisons of survival trends and the public health and policy implications of these trends will also be explored.

     

    The faculty members for the course will include Professor Paul Dickman (Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm), Professor Maja Pohar Perme (University of Ljubljana), and Professor Claudia Allemani and Professor Michel Coleman (LSHTM) with other members of the Cancer Survival Group.

     

    Participants from over 60 countries have attended this course in the past, contributing to a rich and diverse learning environment.
