| NOMINATE YOURSELF OR A FELLOW MEMBER Running for office gives you an opportunity to serve NCRA and your cancer registrar community by nominating yourself or a colleague who would be an asset to the NCRA team. Serving as an elected leader of NCRA allows active members and CTRs to give back to the profession while gaining valuable training, experience, and networking opportunities. Terms begin June 2024. Read below to learn which positions are open, full descriptions are on the Nominations and Elections landing page. On the landing page, click on the button on the right titled 'Nominations Application' in order to begin. Submit nominations by October 16, 2023. OPEN POSTIONS Click on each position to learn more! Board Positions President-Elect/Secretary Term Length: One-year term with rollup to President then Immediate Past President, three years in total Treasurer Junior Term Length: One-year term with rollup to Treasurer Senior, two years total Professional Development Board Director Term Length: Two-year term Public Relations and Communications Board Director Term Length: Two-year term Other Positions Council on Certification Administrator Term Length: Three-year term Council on Certification Representatives Term Length: Two-year term, four open positions Nominating Committee Term Length: One-year term, two positions per region Once you are ready to self-nominate or nominate a colleague, click the 'Submit A Nomination Today' button below and complete the application.
