    Hello,

Attached is NAACCR's final comment on the HTI-5 proposed rule. You are welcome to copy and paste this comment for your jurisdiction or modify it as appropriate before submitting your own response.

NAACCR will submit its official comment to the Assistant Secretary for Technology Policy (ASTP) for inclusion in the HTI-5 Federal Register. You may submit your comments directly through the Federal Register notice: Health Data, Technology, and Interoperability: ASTP/ONC Deregulatory Actions To Unleash Prosperity

We strongly encourage all central registries and partners to submit comments on this proposed rule. A greater number of similar comments can help reinforce key concerns and potentially increase the likelihood of revisions.

The deadline to submit public comments on the HTI-5 proposed rule is Friday, February 27, at 5:00 PM ET.

If you would like additional background, NAACCR hosted a webinar on February 9 outlining the implications of the proposed rule. The recording and related resources are available on the NAACCR Learning Management System: NAACCR Online Education: ASTP/ONC HTI-5 Proposed Rule – Implications for Cancer Registry Reporting (you will need your MyNAACCR credentials to log in and access these materials).

Thank you for your engagement and continued support!
