Quality Assurance Coordinator – Connecticut Tumor Registry
The Connecticut Tumor Registry (CTR) is seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Coordinator to lead quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives in the registry, and oversee the training needs of registry technical staff. The CTR, located in the Connecticut Department of Public Health, collects comprehensive and detailed data to monitor and reduce the burden of cancer in the Connecticut population. High-quality cancer registry data are essential to accurately assess cancer incidence, treatment outcomes and patient survival. This Quality Assurance Coordinator position in the CTR fulfills a crucial role in sustaining the accuracy and integrity of the data held by the CTR to help improve the health of people in the state. The CTR is regularly certified as a First-Place data quality profile SEER registry, and a Gold Standard NAACCR registry.
This is a full time, forty hour per week position, and offers the potential to telework up to 80% of each pay period. A flexible schedule is also available.
