I am currently membrer of the board of IACR and director of the specialised registry of hematological malignancies in France.

I would like to if you could send to the NAACCR network the annoucement of the 50th congress of Cancer registries of Latin Language countries (GRELL) that will take place in Dijon next 13-15th, May.

This meeting will take place just few days before the IARC sceintific meeting in Lyon and give you the opportunity of reduced fee and to visit Burgundy between both meetings.

    Thank you for your help.

    All the best

    Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to inform you that the Call for Abstracts is now open for the 50th GRELL Scientific Conference (#GRELL2026), which will take place 13–15 May 2026 in Dijon, France.

This special anniversary edition will bring together the cancer registry and research community for a two-day scientific conference, including keynote sessions, a dedicated workshop, and networking opportunities. Participation will be possible on site, with the option to follow presentations via streaming.

A highlight of GRELL 2026 will be the workshop "What can Cancer Registries bring to clinical research?", which will explore the contribution of population-based cancer registry data to clinical research, including key methodological and epidemiological challenges such as lack of randomization, indication bias, and immortal time bias, as well as possible analytical solutions.

The invited speaker for this workshop is Professor Samy Suissa (McGill University).

📅 Abstract submission deadline: 31 March 2026 at midnight

📝 Registration is now open. Information on registration fees and abstract submission guidelines is available on the conference website via www.grell-network.org or https://grell2026.fr/fr

Please note that GRELL 2026 participants benefit from a special registration fee (€300) for the IARC 2026 International Scientific Conference (Lyon, 19–21 May 2026), upon justification of GRELL registration.
