Dear NAACCR Colleagues,
The CDC released https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2022/05/25/2022-11237/draft-guidelines-for-examining-unusual-patterns-of-cancer-and-environmental-concerns Click to follow link.">Draft Guidelines for Examining Unusual Patterns of Cancer and Environmental Concerns and is soliciting comments from interested persons and organizations through July 25, 2022. We have heard that many registries have been notified of this release and are actively working with their state departments of health to respond.
Cancer registries have a significant interest in the Guidelines, so NAACCR is reaching out to its member registries to offer assistance in gathering and coordinating comments for submission to the CDC/ATSDR. To that end, we have enclosed a form to help gather comments from NAACCR members.
We certainly encourage individual responses from registries, but if you would like to include your comments as part of NAACCR's coordinated response, please complete the form and submit it to Recinda Sherman, PhD, NAACCR Program Manager for Research, via email at RSherman@NAACCR.org no later than Thursday, July 21, 2022.
