NAACCR is pleased to announce that the 2026 NAACCR Annual Conference will be held June 2-4, 2026, at the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The Manitoba Cancer Registry, CancerCare Manitoba, has graciously agreed to be the host of the 2026 conference.
The Manitoba Cancer Registry is one of the oldest in Canada, with cases dating back to the 1930s and population-wide coverage since 1956. It is part of CancerCare Manitoba, the province's cancer authority, which is responsible for providing all Manitobans with a comprehensive range of cancer services as well as the province's cancer-related planning, research and education. There is a proud tradition of using cancer registry data for population-based research, surveillance, planning and even supporting the organization's clinical operations!
Beautiful and historic Winnipeg is in the geographic center of North America and will provide an excellent experience for conference attendees. There is lots to see and do in and near Winnipeg, including outdoor activities like hiking and biking near our many lakes, rivers and parks, visiting museums (e.g., the Canadian Museum for Human Rights) or taking in the arts (with many theatres, and the world-famous Royal Winnipeg Ballet) and taking in professional sports [ice hockey (of course!), baseball, Canadian-rules football, and basketball]. And for those who want to go further afield, it's the jumping off place to Churchill on Hudson Bay, where you can see polar bears, beluga whales, and other Arctic flora and fauna.
The RBC Convention Centre is a world-class facility that offers state-of-the-art meeting technology and large meeting space. The host hotels will be the Delta Hotel Winnipeg at $279 CAD per night, and the Hampton Inn by Hilton Winnipeg Downtown at $215 CAD per night. Both hotels are just steps from the convention centre. Room rates and other information are available on the Future Annual Conferences web site where attendees can obtain additional facility and hotel information as it becomes available.
Come join us for friendly Manitoban hospitality and Canadian adventure. Add NAACCR 2026, Winnipeg to your calendar and plan to join us in June 2026!
