    Posted 08-10-2022 03:19 PM

The American College of Surgeons is conducting a survey of healthcare professionals who manage patients with cancer or a history of cancer. More specifically, we are seeking to determine how satisfied clinicians are with the current American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) Staging System.

In particular, we are hoping to better understand how AJCC staging content and the various staging materials available to healthcare professionals meet clinical practice needs and fit within clinical workflow. We are conducting this survey to identify opportunities to improve AJCC content and delivery of content.

As an AJCC member organization, we invite you to help distribute the survey, by sending a link and explanation to your membership on September 1, 2022. The American College of Surgeons website will host the survey on a forthcoming webpage.

We invite you to preview the survey here before we begin collecting responses:

Please note that no patient identifying information will be obtained, participant information will be kept completely confidential, and survey responses will remain anonymous and only reported in aggregate. Participation is completely voluntary, and we expect completion of this survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes.

We kindly request you respond by August 19th to indicate if you will help distribute the survey. If you have any questions or comments, please reach out to

Thank you for your time and consideration.
