Cancer Information Analyst – closes 27Feb2020. The individual will provide support to all portfolios at the Partnership who seek to use data to evaluate and report on the Canadian Cancer Control system. The role of the Cancer Information Analyst is to gather, clean and analyze health/cancer data from a range of data sources, identify and advise on data limitations, provide insight and interpretation of results, develop performance indicators in collaboration with content experts, provide analytical support on the development of reports related to cancer control, conduct ad hoc data analysis for presentations and publications and other Partnership business. The individual will spend a good proportion of time interacting with colleagues across the organization and the broader cancer system, partner landscape to understand needs, explain results and brainstorm solutions. As such, communication and relationship management skills are as important in this role as technical and analytical skills.
