The Arkansas Central Cancer Registry is seeking an Administrator and Senior Analyst. This position directs the ACCR operations which includes the oversight and management of the National Program of Cancer Registries (NPCR) grant and the recently awarded Base Contract for Research Support by the National Cancer Institute's Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Program. Responsibilities include monitoring data quality, analyzing and data evaluation, budget management, project management, grant writing, personnel management, providing technical oversight and insuring operational compliance with state and federal laws.
The formal education equivalent of a master's degree in public health, public administration or a related field; plus four years of experience in public health program operations, including two years in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes requires review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management. OTHER JOB RELATED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR ALL OR PART OF THESE BASIC REQUIREMENTS, EXCEPT FOR CERTIFICATION OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS, UPON APPROVAL OF THE QUALIFICATIONS REVIEW COMMITTEE.
