    The NJSCR is seeking a Cancer Registry Information Specialist I (CRIS I). This position will assist in supporting our SEER*DMS database activities. This position is a great opportunity for those interested in gaining leadership experience in coordinating database activities in the future.


    • This is a Rutgers University position within the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.

    • This is a position that will be an important part of our Cancer Surveillance Operations team assisting with cancer data collection, quality control, and medical data correction activities.

    • Although social distancing is currently practiced in NJ and staff are working remotely, the position will work primarily in the offices at the New Jersey Department of Health in Trenton, NJ, with some opportunities for telecommuting.

    • Candidates will have the opportunity to work with an exceptional team of cancer registry, surveillance research, and IT and administrative support staff that are talented, driven toward excellence, and committed to serving the people of New Jersey.
