    To help registries, especially in this time of the Coronavirus, the NAACCR Professional Development Steering Committee would like to direct you to the recently approved Best Practices document on Telecommuting. This Best Practice provides an overview of what to consider when implementing remote working policies and procedures and includes examples from several central/state/provincial cancer registries. It was originally conceived and developed prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, but we feel that this could be a good resource for registries grappling with how to have staff work remotely now. A webinar covering the Telecommuting Best Practice in more detail is being developed and planned for viewing soon, but in the interest of time, we would like to make you all aware that this document is available to you now on the NAACCR Website.
