The Maine Cancer Registry in Augusta, Maine has a job available for a Surveillance and Statistics Program Manager.
JOB DUTIES:
As the Surveillance and Statistics Program Manager, you will provide oversight in the collection and provision of data analysis to support Department programs, align with public health priorities, establish trends and monitor public health concerns. Data, Research, and Vital Statistics (DRVS), within the Department of Health and Human Services, is seeking a highly-skilled manager to join our team. You should be comfortable developing program policies and procedures, establishing program goals, overseeing program functions, acquiring and administering grants, directing the Maine Cancer Registry and providing general oversight in vital statistics data compilation and analysis, Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring Survey (PRAMS) and Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance Survey (BRFSS) population- based data collection and analysis. You will be responsible for providing senior level epidemiological oversight within the Office.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor's Degree in Public Health or Health Sciences, Health Education, one of the Behavioral Sciences, Public Administration, or Education - AND - four (4) year's experience in health program planning, development, implementation, and evaluation - OR - an equivalent eight (8) year combination of education, training, and experience.
