The results from the 2019: Extent of Disease (EOD), Summary Stage, and Site-Specific Data Items (SSDI) Reliability Study have been posted on the SEER website.
A study of this magnitude involves a very large team of individuals. As the SEER team lead on this study, I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank the individuals who helped make this study a successful one. Without these individuals, none of this would have been possible
Co-lead for study: Carmela Groves (Westat)
IT (IMS) Support: Bran Handley and Nicola Schussler
Expert panel for help in developing preferred answers and rationale:
Support during post study reconciliation.
Final Report development support
Posting documents to the SEER website
And to the most important group: The ~700 registrars who participated in this study. Your participation is greatly appreciated. Based on feedback we got from you, mostly notably your comments and suggestions, we were able to find many areas that needed clarification. Many of these clarifications were added to Version 1.7 releases of the SSDI and Grade Manuals, EOD and Summary Stage.
Thank you so much to everyone for your assistance. It has been a great privilege working with all of you.
