    Supervising Cancer Registry Information Specialist

    New Jersey State Cancer Registry

    The NJSCR is seeking a Supervising Cancer Registry Information Specialist to serve as a Database Coordinator to lead and coordinate all activities related to the New Jersey State Cancer Registry (NJSCR) database management system (SEER*DMS) at the New Jersey State Cancer Registry.

    • This is a Rutgers University position within the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.

    • This is a supervisor-level position that will be an important part of our Cancer Surveillance Operations team managing all cancer data collection, quality control and medical data correction activities.

    • Although social distancing is currently practiced in NJ and staff are working remotely, the position will work primarily in the offices at the New Jersey Department of Health in Trenton, NJ, with some opportunities for telecommuting.

    • Candidates will have the opportunity to work with an exceptional team of cancer registry, surveillance research, and IT and administrative support staff that are talented, driven toward excellence, and committed to serving the people of New Jersey.
