Subject: Retiring NPCR National Interstate Data Exchange Application System (N-IDEAS) version 2.0
We are pleased to announce that NPCR's N-IDEAS v3.0 marked its one-year anniversary on May 5, 2021. With the successful deployment of N-IDEAS v3.0, version v2.0 will be retired on July 15, 2021. To maintain the system's security features, v2.0 will no longer work after July 15th.
If you currently have access to N-IDEAS v2.0, v3.0 ("N-IDEAS Package 3.0") can be downloaded from the NPCR-CSS Document Server "N-IDEAS Download" folder. The download package includes an executable installation setup, ReadMe file, and the edits metafile. Please refer to the attached email from May 2020 for additional details about N-IDEAS v3.0. N-IDEAS v3.0 is available at no cost to all central cancer registries in North America.
Contact the CDC NPCR support line, support@npcrcss.org, to request access or for technical issues.
Watch for an update coming soon to support NAACCR v21 XML input files.
