    The Indiana Department of Health is currently accepting applications for a Cancer Surveillance Section Director. The Program Director leads the development, administration, and evaluation of the Cancer Surveillance Section at the Indiana State Department of Health, including all programs included within the Section.  The Cancer Surveillance Section Director serves as the resident expert and public health specialist for cancer surveillance initiatives (including the federal and state mandated Indiana State Cancer Registry, pediatric cancer surveillance, and Indiana cancer cluster response) at the Indiana State Department of Health.  The Director provides leadership and management for all Cancer Surveillance Section state and contracted staff, ensuring that the team meets its specified goals and objectives while satisfying requirements of associated state and federal funding sources. Incumbent will oversee the Indiana State Cancer Registry.
