    Supervising Cancer Registry Information Specialist

    New Jersey State Cancer Registry

    The NJSCR is seeking a Supervising Cancer Registry Information Specialist to serve as an Education Coordinator, developing, leading, and coordinating internal and external training and education programs in accordance to the requirements of the CDC NPCR, NCI SEER, and NAACCR.

    • This is a Rutgers University position within the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.

    • This is a supervisor-level position that will be an important part of our Cancer Surveillance Operations team.

    • Although social distancing is currently practiced in NJ and staff are working remotely, the position will work primarily in the offices at the New Jersey Department of Health in Trenton, NJ, with some opportunities for telecommuting.

    • Candidates will have the opportunity to work with an exceptional team of cancer registry, surveillance research, and IT and administrative support staff that are talented, driven toward excellence, and committed to serving the people of New Jersey.
