YOUR CHANCE TO ADVOCATE
FROM YOUR DESKTOP
NCRA is inviting the NAACRR membership join in to urge members of Congress to support key policies to improve cancer data and support the vital work of cancer registries and registrars in the fight against cancer. From April 18-29,2022, NCRA is leading a letter-writing campaign to members of Congress, as part of its Advocacy Now initiative.
Follow this link to send a letter to your members of Congress highlighting NCRA's policy and funding priorities, which include:
1. Co-sponsoring the forthcoming Counting Veterans Cancer Act to ensure all veterans' cancer cases are reported by the Department of Veterans' Affairs to cancer registries.
2. Funding to implement a nationwide cloud registry system to modernize cancer data reporting and publishing.
Please join NCRA in our efforts to strengthen cancer registries and improve cancer care. Make your voice heard!
