    Good morning NAACCR members,

     1.   Cancer Surveillance Coordinator (Up to $62,808.00 based on education and experience):

    The primary function of this position is to coordinate the activities of the statewide OCCR surveillance system. Provide day-to-day oversight of the functions and actions of the registry staff to ensure that the annual data submission is completed and meets or exceeds the national data quality standards. This position is also responsible for immediate and long-range program development. The second function of this position is as the cancer epidemiologist to provide epidemiological support for the cancer programs (Breast and Cervical Cancer early Detection Program, OCCR, and OK Comprehensive Cancer Control). This position will be responsible for performing advanced epidemiologic analysis related to cancer and associated chronic diseases. Education and Experience: Requirements consist of a masters' degree in Epidemiology and four years of experience in a field involving the use of epidemiological techniques and analysis; or a doctorate in epidemiology with one year of qualifying experience. https://www.jobapscloud.com/OK/sup/bulpreview.asp?R1=190729&R2=UNCX&R3=305

    1. Quality Assurance and Operations Specialist  (Up to $60,000.00 based on education and experience) :

    The Quality Assurance and Operations Specialist is a supervisor within the OCCR; oversees the acquisition and follow-back of cases from hospitals, non-hospital reporting sources and physician offices, as well as oversees all new case-finding and quality assurance activities. The position provides guidance and supervision of OCCR facility consultants. The position will be responsible for conducting quality control review to ensure reliability, completeness, consistency and comparability of cancer registry data.     1. Cancer Registry Consultant  (Up to $50,667.00 based on education and experience):

    This position supports the OCCR by collecting and maintaining cancer data (complete, timely and high quality) from various Oklahoma health facilities. Data are collected in accordance with Oklahoma Law and according to the national data standards. Education and Experience: High school diploma and 2+ (two plus) years of experience in cancer abstraction within healthcare/ registry setting; OR an associate's degree from a Health Information Management (HIM) program, certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA). https://jobapscloud.com/OK/sup/bulpreview.asp?R1=190716&R2=UNCX&R3=282

     

    1. Cancer Registry Compliance Specialist  (Up to $53,847.00 based on education and experience):

    This position supports the OCCR.  It is responsible for assuring compliance of all Oklahoma health care facilities in regards to cancer reporting set forth by state law and with national data standards This Position will also be responsible for training staff and reporting facilities on current cancer abstraction standards and reporting requirements and communicate with reporting facilities and provide technical advice.
