    Hi all,

Attached is the current version of the 2021 Grade Manual. As I stated on our last call, there will be major changes to Grade for 2021. I decided to go ahead and get all the changes into the WORD version first so that everyone could see what the changes would look like. I think this approach will help you to see where some pending issues are. I am hoping to get everything sorted out in the WORD document before entering this into SEER*RSA. Every grade table will need to be updated (not a difficult thing, just tedious and a little time consuming).

As a reminder, we still have a note for all sites that have AJCC staging, we are still working on the wording. I have included the note in Grade Table 01 so that you could see it in context. Also in Grade Table 01, I have added a note about the preferred grading system, along with some comments you might find helpful.

Grade Post Therapy Clin (yc) has been added to the manual. Some preliminary notes have been added, will need to discuss these.

We also still have the breast note to work on.

We will continue our grade discussion at our next meeting, but I did want to get this out ahead of time. Please, if you have time, review at least a couple of the grade tables, you do not need to review the entire document.

Tables that may need a special look: Brain, Corpus Carcinosarcoma: These have specific notes about automatic grades, not sure how to prioritize these notes with the general notes being added to all schemas, so would appreciate some feedback on that.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

    Thank you,

    Jennifer

My apologies to everyone, this notice got sent to everyone on the NAACCR listserve instead of just the SSDI work group. You may ignore this notice.

    Have a good day.
