In recognition of National Cancer Survivor Month, the Comprehensive Cancer Control National Partnership celebrates those whose lives have been impacted by cancer. Sunday, June 2nd marks National Cancer Survivors Day, which honors the lives of over 15 million cancer survivors who are striving and thriving in the United States. An individual is considered a cancer survivor from the time of diagnosis throughout his or her life.

Public health professionals, health care providers, caregivers, friends and family members support survivors throughout the year, but June is a special opportunity to honor and support those who have been affected by cancer.

The Comprehensive Cancer Control National Partnership, a network of diverse national organizations, is committed to strengthening and enhancing comprehensive cancer control efforts in the United States. Since 1998, the partnership has helped sustain the implementation of comprehensive cancer control plans at the state, tribe, territory, U.S. Pacific Island Jurisdiction, and local levels. Each member organization offers unique survivorship resources for a variety of audiences. We encourage you to check out some of the resources below or visit the Comprehensive Cancer Control National Partnership website for more information.
